competitive tennis in Wales is dominated by the interclub leagues
of various types throughout Wales. Those that wish to play regular
singles matches are mostly catered for in the National Club League.
The other leagues are essentially doubles leagues of either 2 or 3
pairs in a team. In 2006, Tennis Wales will run the first Welsh Open

still a few traditional tournaments catering for senior singles players
